Orders & payment
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal — whatever's easiest for you at checkout.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Reach out within 2 hours of ordering and we'll do our best to catch it before it ships. After that, we'll happily help with a return or exchange.
Will I get an order confirmation?
Yes — a confirmation lands in your inbox right away, and a second email with tracking follows as soon as your order ships.
Shipping & delivery
How much is shipping?
Standard shipping is $9.95, or free on orders of $200 or more in the continental U.S. Alaska and Hawaii are $24.95. We ship to the 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C. only. No shipping to Puerto Rico, other U.S. territories, or international destinations. Full shipping details →
How long until it arrives?
Allow 1–3 business days for processing and 5–8 business days for standard delivery.
Do you ship internationally?
No. Fifth Year currently ships within the United States only.
Returns & exchanges
What's your return policy?
Eligible continental U.S. returns require authorization within 14 days of delivery and inspection and approval. Refunds deduct the return-label cost and an $8 restocking fee; these fees are waived for approved exchanges or store credit. Final Sale merchandise and orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and U.S. territories are not eligible for return, exchange, refund or store credit. Full returns policy →
How do exchanges work?
Approved exchanges are subject to availability. Return shipping and the $8 restocking fee are waived. Fifth Year covers outbound shipping on the first exchange; customers pay it on later exchanges. Price differences are charged or credited. Allow 7–10 business days after receipt for inspection and processing.
What if something arrives damaged?
Contact us within 7 days with your order number and photos. Approved damaged or incorrect-item cases are resolved at no extra cost.
Sizing & fit
How does Fifth Year sizing run?
Everything is unisex, XS–XXL. Our 14oz fleece is designed oversized — size down for a classic fit — while wovens and outerwear are true to size. Every product page carries a fit note.
Can you help me find my size?
Yes — use "Find my size" in the header, or message us your usual sizes in a couple of brands and we'll point you to the right fit.
Product & care
What are your pieces made of?
Elevated collegiate materials: 14oz brushed-back cotton fleece, wool melton, butter-soft lamb leather, and merino lambswool. Each product page lists its exact fabric.
How should I care for them?
Wash fleece and knits cold and lay flat to dry; spot-clean or professionally clean wool and leather. Care instructions come on every garment's label so it lasts for years.
Gift cards
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. Digital Fifth Year gift cards are delivered by email with a unique code the recipient redeems at checkout — the easiest way to give someone their fifth year.
Do gift cards expire?
No. Fifth Year gift cards never expire, and any unused balance stays on the card for next time.
Account & orders
Do I need an account to order?
No — you can check out as a guest. An account just makes tracking orders and starting returns a little faster.
Where do I track my order?
Follow the tracking link in your shipping email, or sign in and open your account → Orders.
